On Thursday 17th March the Coach Education Department at Bolton Wanderers Football Club held a Q&A session as a reward for the Bolton College students who had successfully completed their FA Level 1 coaching badge. This forms part of the NVQ Level 2 programme which we run in conjunction with Bolton College. The students enrolled onto the course at the start of September and are due to complete by the end of June.
We had asked if a 1st Team player would be available to attend the Q & A Session and hand out certificates to the successful students, much to our own and the students delight, The Manager himself, Owen Coyle, attended and kindly answered all the students questions and gave an insight of how he got started as a player and who had influenced him in the early days. He also stressed the importance of working hard and embracing all the opportunities that the qualifications could lead to.
