Level 3 - Certificate in Coaching Football (UEFA 'B' Licence)


The Level 3 CCF (UEFA 'B' Licence) provides an exciting opportunity for candidates to build on existing knowledge from the Level 2 and to advance their practical/ theoretical knowledge on team coaching. On gaining this highly prestigious award candidates are qualified to coach at a higher level, for example, at FA Academies where the UEFA 'B' Licence is a minimum requirement. Each candidate is fully supported throughout the programme and training.

Who Should Enrol?

Anybody over 18 years of age who has completed the FA Level 2 CCF or equivalent. Candidates should be working with players 14 years and above over an extensive period of time with the aim of making a significant contribution to the performance of their team.

What Will I Learn?

In addition to expanding knowledge gained from the Level 2 CCF, successful completion of the Level 3 CCF will enable candidates to:
  • Demonstrate an understanding of the knowledge required to plan, conduct and evaluate football coaching programmes
  • Plan, conduct and evaluate individual coaching sessions within a structured and progressive coaching programme of advanced techniques, skills and principles of play
  • Coach the Level 3 syllabus, including the principles of attack and defence through the use of functional practices, phases of play and small sided games (8 v 8)

Itinerary

Day 1 - 09:00-17:00- Introduction to the qualification, principles of attack and defence, functional practices
 
Day 2 - 09:00-17:00 - Functional practices, introduction and application of match analysis
 
Day 3 - 09:00-17:00 - Candidate practice, self evaluation and reflection
 
Day 4 - 09:00-17:00 - Candidate practice, psychological analysis, small sided games
    
Day 5 - 09:00-17:00 - Phases of play, goalkeeping
 
Day 6 - 09:00-17:00 - Candidate practice, nutrition and drugs awareness
 
Day 7 - 09:00-17:00 - Candidate practice, fitness analysis and planning
 
Day 8 - 09:00-17:00 - Injury ID, planning an annual programme, course review/ debrief, candidate action planning
 
CANDIDATES MUST ATTEND ALL PARTS OF THE TRAINING WEEK SUPPORT DAYS AND
ASSESSMENT TO MEET THE MANDATORY HOURS REQUIRED  FOR THE QUALIFICATION
